Suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, has been released on bail.
This follows an investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) into an alleged N585 million cash transfer scandal that took place under her ministry.
The suspended minister, who was at the office of the EFCC on Tuesday, has been mandated to report to it daily.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu on Monday morning suspended the minister pending the conclusion of the investigation into the alleged crime she committed.
