A former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and member of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Anayo Nnebe, has passed away at the age of 61.
Although there has been no official confirmation from his family, a source reveals that he died following a brief illness at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital, Nnewi.
A family meeting is expected before an official press release on his demise.
The late lawmaker hails from Umuokpu in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
