BREAKING: Kidnapped Ekiti Schoolchildren Released [VIDEO]

Nine individuals abducted from the Apostolic Faith Group of Schools in Emure-Ekiti have finally been released.

The group, comprising five pupils and four staff members, were freed early on Sunday morning.

While the circumstances surrounding their release remain unclear, unconfirmed reports suggest negotiations may have played a role.

Earlier, the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of N100 million, later reducing it to N15 million during talks with the families of those abducted.

The ordeal began on Monday evening when gunmen ambushed a school bus carrying over 25 pupils on the Emure-Ekiti – Iporo Ekiti road. Five children and four staff members were seized by the attackers, leading to a search and rescue operation.
