Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has terminated the appointments of Alkaleri Local Government Area’s caretaker Chairman, Bala Mahmoud, and his Deputy, effective immediately.
This was made known in a letter dated Thursday, July 6, 2024.
In the letter, Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Kashim didn’t disclose the reasons behind their sudden removal.
The letter instructed the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, to ensure a seamless transition.
