JUST IN: Gov Fubara appoints new chairman for Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers

Governor Sim Fubara has announced the appointment of HRM Chike Worlu, also known as Eze Ohna Apara, as the new Chairman of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers.

HRM Chike Worlu succeeds Paramount Ruler Sergeant Awuse, who previously held the position.

Appointees of the governor say the decision is part of his administration’s efforts to bolster the traditional leadership structure in the state.

HRM Chike Worlu brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to preserving the cultural heritage and traditions of Rivers State.

His leadership is expected to strengthen the council and enhance its role in fostering unity and development within the state’s traditional communities.

Governor Fubara expressed confidence in the capabilities of HRM Chike Worlu and thanked Sergeant Awuse for his dedicated service.

The governor reiterated the importance of the council’s role in advising and supporting the government on matters related to culture and tradition.
