President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to Vice-President Kashim Shettima and his family following the passing of Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Albishir, Shettima’s mother-in-law.
The president sent his condolences in a press release by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngalale on Monday.
Describing the loss as “deeply painful,” President Tinubu celebrated Hajiya Maryam’s life which he said was marked by her philanthropic endeavours and virtuous nature.
He added, “The President not only mourns the deceased but also celebrates her legacies of philanthropy and good virtues.
“While praying for the repose of the soul of the late Hajiya Maryam, President Tinubu urges the family to take solace in the remarkable life the departed matriarch lived.”
