Famous comedian, Obinna Simon, popularly known as MC Tagwaye has joined the chairmanship race for Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) . .
This was announced on Tuesday in Abuja by Mr. Moses Kaser, Director General of the Nigeria Youth Political Agenda (NYPA).
According to Kasar, Simon’s candidacy has generated immense excitement among the youth and stakeholders in AMAC, with many tipping him as the aspirant to beat in the 2025 election.
He said, that NYPA, a youth-focused political organization, has been instrumental in convincing Simon to throw his hat into the ring.
As the coordinator of the Obinna Campaign Council, Kasar expressed confidence in Simon’s ability to clinch the party’s ticket and ultimately win the chairmanship seat.
According to him, Simon’s commitment to youth empowerment and his vision to establish cottage industries would revolutionize Abuja’s industrial landscape.
