BREAKING: Tinubu, labour leaders hold crucial meeting over new minimum wage

President Bola Tinubu and labour leaders are currently holding a crucial meeting over the new minimum wage for workers.

Politics Nigeria reports that labour leaders and the federal government have been at loggerheads over the issue of a new minimum wage for workers in the country.

The federal government has proposed N62,000 minimum wage. Labour leaders have, however, rejected the offer while insisting on N250,000.

Villa sources say the representatives of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) arrived in a white Toyota Hiace Bus at 2pm.

Today’s meeting is currently being held at Tinubu’s office.
