“I’m a threat to NNPP, Kwankwaso” – Doguwa tells APC to make him campaign DG in 2027

A lawmaker of the House of Representatives Ado Doguwa (APC-Kano state) has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) to make him the party’s campaign director-general ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Doguwa stated that if his party comes through with his demand, he will deliver Kano for the APC in 2027.

In a statement issued on Sunday, August 11, the lawmaker boasted that he is a threat to the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) and its leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State,

According to Doguwa, he is the only one who can defeat Kwankwaso and the ruling party, NNPP in Kano State.

His words, “As a 7th term lawmaker, I am seizing the opportunity to urge the leadership of the APC to graciously allow me to coordinate and serve as a Director-General of Kano state APC Campaign  Project in 2027.

“I vow to deliver victorious results in the gubernatorial and presidential elections before noon on the day of election.”

The lawmaker also said that he stands tall in the Kano state political space as the only member elected under the platform of the APC in the whole of Kano South Senatorial District.

He added that the NNPP government in Kano State had performed below expectations as it had done little to develop the economic and social well-being of the people of Kano State.
