President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the Nigerian Senate to confirm nominations he has made for the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Federal Character Commission and the Federal Civil Service Commission.
POLITICS NIGERIA has gathered that the senate received 3 requests from President Buhari on Tuesday. Mr Buhari highlighted that the request for the confirmation of the nominees was in accordance with the provisions of Section 154(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended.
Those nominated to serve as Commissioners with the Federal Civil Service Commission are
Madugu Jonah for Benue, Nasarawa and Plateau;
Frederick Ekwem for Imo and Abia.
The nominees for confirmation as Members of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) are:
