Be patient with me, Tinubu begs Nigerians, says there’s light at the end of the tunnel

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, October 1, begged Nigerians to remain patient with him as he steers the affairs of the nation.

Speaking during his Independence Day broadcast message, the president said he is deeply aware of all the struggles faced by the people.

He said, “Fellow Nigerians, as I address you today, I am deeply aware of the struggles many of you face in these challenging times.”

Highlighting the challenges of rising living costs and search for gainful employment, the president said he hears the voice of the people.

“Our administration knows that many of you struggle with rising living costs and the search for meaningful employment. I want to assure you that your voices are heard,” Tinubu said.

According to Tinubu, his administration is committed to finding sustainable solutions to end the suffering of the people.

He also called for patience as he said he believed that his policy reforms would bring the needed positive desires across the country.

He added, “As your President, I assure you that we are committed to finding sustainable solutions to alleviate the suffering of our citizens.

“Once again, I plead for your patience as the reforms we are implementing show positive signs, and we are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel,” he said.
