A senior lecturer at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) and Dean of the School of General Studies, Prof. Oguejiofor Ujam, has reportedly been kidnapped.
The abduction occurred Sunday morning along the Ugwuogo-Opi-Nsukka road, a route known for past incidents of kidnapping.
Prof. Ujam is also part of the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry.
The recent incident comes just a day after another kidnapping on the same route. On Saturday, Emeason Chima, an officer with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), was also abducted in a similar manner.
