The immediate past Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has embarked on a medical vacation after the end of his tenure.
This was disclosed in a statement by Obaseki’s media aide, Crusoe Osagie.
Osagie said Obaseki embarked on the trip on the 11th of November 2024, “to rest and undergo extended medical checks.”
Osagie said, “Obaseki, once again, expressed his appreciation to God Almighty and the people of Edo state and Nigeria for the opportunity to serve.
“He urged all Edo people both at home and in the Diaspora to continue to be hopeful and pray for the peace, progress and prosperity of our State and Nigeria.”
