Ahead of today’s governorship election in Ondo State, voting materials have arrived early in Kiribo, Ese-Odo LGA.
Kiribo is the hometown of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Agboola Ajayi.
It was gathered that ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were at the location as early as 6.50 am on Saturday, November 16, for the polls.
Accompanied by personnel of various security agents, the INEC ad-hoc staff were at Ajayi’s polling unit with voting materials to set up for the exercise.
At Polling Unit 5, R . C. M School, Ward 2, in Kiribo, electoral officials also arrived at about 7 am with voters littered at the polling unit where they were checking their names on the register.
According to the presiding officer, voting process is expected to start at 8.30 am at the polling unit.
