ADC Candidate Slams APC Over Alleged Intimidation, Links Party to ‘Cartel-Like Structure’

The Lagos State African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) not to rely on violence and intimidation if it truly believes it is performing well for Nigerians.
Rhodes-Vivour made the remarks during an interview, where he also questioned the continued dominance of the APC in Lagos State amid growing public scrutiny.
He said, “If the APC government believes that they were doing well by the people, it will not depend on thugs, violence, and intimidation.
“You have the level of insecurity that has come all the way to the Southwest. President Bola Tinubu has been very callous in his remarks.
“That also plays back to the people in Lagos and the people who support his hegemony.
“They have been part of the support structure for the mafia-type cartel that we call the APC in Lagos State, which has been ruining and stealing from our common wealth in ways that are unprecedented,” he said.
