Two people have reportedly died after an explosion rocked a 200 housing estate under construction in Dalwa, Borno State.
Channels Television reports that an Improvised Explosive Device exploded and killed the two persons at about 1pm on Wednesday.
Dalwa is a community that is about 175 kilometres away from Maiduguri.
According to the report, the incident happened at about the same time the governor of the state, Babagana Zulum and his colleague from Yobe State, Mai Mala-Buni were commissioning housing estates in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital.
Sources within the state also stated that a similar incident occurred on Tuesday, although details of that particular incident are not available.
