Many people have reportedly lost their lives following a stampede during the distribution of yuletide rice in Okija community, Anambra state.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning.
Among those dead include women and children. According to reports, the bags of rice were donated by a notable member of the community, Chief Dr.Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi.
