Another member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the House of Representatives, Amos Gwamna Magaji, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Magaji, who represents the Jaba/Zango Kataf Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, cited unresolved internal disputes within the PDP at both national and local levels as the reason for his departure.
His defection marks another setback for the opposition party, which has been grappling with internal divisions in recent months.
The opposition party is yet to officially react to the defection of the Kaduna-born politician to the ruling party.
