Musa Kwankwaso, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress has said that the leadership of the Arewa Consultative Forum nor its members lack the political influence to work against the re-election of Bola Tinubu as president in 2027.
Speaking to journalists on Friday, February 14, Kwankwaso, the executive director of finance at Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority said President Tinubu would massively win the 2027 presidential election.
He also said that President Tinubu would clear majority of the votes in the North.
“No vacancy at the Presidency, North should wait till 2031 to reclaim power. ACF lacks political values to talk about North.
“That must of you who are in this Forum were in power for decades but what did you do to the North that you are now depending on, nothing, rather you only served your personal interest nothing more than that.
“Ganduje is right, North should wait till 2031 to start talking about power because right now one can clearly see huge contributions to the development of the region,” Kwankwaso stated.
He also noted the N600 billion has been approved for the Northwest Development Commission headed by the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin and N150 billion for the construction of Metro Rail lines in Kano City.
“Today the entire Northern Nigeria has become a project site with so many projects going on and these are done by the full support of President Tinubu, and more are coming by the time he is reelected in 2027,” he said.
