The North Central Governors’ Forum (NCGF) has advised President Muhammadu Buhari’s new Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari, on his new role.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Mr Gamabri was appointed to replace Malam Abba Kyari who died of Coronavirus in April.
But in a congratulatory message sent by the chairman of the forum, Abubakar Bello of Niger State, on Thursday, the governors said the new CoS must carry everyone along while dispensing his service to the nation.
In the message signed by Mr Bello’s Chief Press Secretary, Mary Berje, the governors noted that that appointment by Mr Buhari should be commended.
Speaking on Mr Gambari’s experience, the forum said the new Chief of Staff will add to the growth of the nation.
“I urge you to take up the new task with all sense of responsibility and be assured of our support. Your appointment as the Chief of Staff to our dear President was received with joy,” the statement read.
The forum also promised to support Gambari in the discharge of his duties.
