Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, and the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, have rejoiced with the founder of DAAR Communications, Raymond Dokpesi following his recovery from COVID-19.
This newspaper reports that the media mogul alongside two of his grandchildren recovered from the infection on Thursday after receiving treatment at an isolation centre in Abuja for about two weeks.
However, in a tweet on his official Twitter page on Thursday, the former PDP presidential candidate thank God for Dokpesi’s life who tested positive for the deadly virus two weeks ago.
He also prayed that Dokpesi’s son, Junior, and other members of his family recover from the virus and will be released soon.
He wrote: “I rejoice with the Dokpesi family and @OfficialAITlive over the discharge of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi and members of his family following a successful recovery from COVID-19. It is my prayer that Chief Raymond Dokpesi Jnr and others undergoing treatment will be released soon.”
