Political figures across the country have gathered in Abuja for the launch of former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido’s autobiography, Being True to Myself.
Among the dignitaries at the event, which is taking place at the NAF Conference Centre. are former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar and Namadi Sambo, as well as former Senate Presidents Ken Nnamani and Pius Ayim.
Also present was the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, alongside the Governors of Gombe, Muhammadu Yahaya; Jigawa, Umar Namadi; and Plateau, Caleb Mutfwang.
Former PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, is expected to review the book at the event.
Other prominent attendees include former Governors Gabriel Suswam (Benue), Ahmed Makarfi (Kaduna), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), and Liyel Imoke (Cross River), among many other politicians.
