Tinubu hosted to special dinner hours after landing in Rome [PHOTOS]

Barely two hours after landing in Rome, the capital city of Italy, President Bola Tinubu has been hosted to a special dinner.

The president was hosted to a dinner at the Vatican City by the Secretary of State to the Vatican, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.

In a short statement shared on X, the special adviser to the president, Bayo Onanuga, said Tinubu joined Cardinal Parolin two hours after arriving in the city of Rome.

Onanuga wrote on X, “Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the  Secretary of State to the Vatican, hosted President Bola Tinubu to dinner some two hours after Tinubu arrived in Rome on Saturday.”

Recall that Politics Nigeria reported that the president arrived in Rome about 5.00 (local time) on Saturday, May 17.

Tinubu was in Rome alongside his entourage and was received by some Nigerian government officials at the Military Airport, Rome.

The president visited Rome at the instance of Pope Leo, who is set for inauguration on Sunday, May 18.

Pope was recently elected as the leader of the Roman Catholic Church after the passing of Pope Francis.
