The Kwankwasiyya Coalition of Concern Citizens for Sustainable Development has called on the Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf to be wary of some cabals infiltrating his government.
Dayyib Ahmad, the national chairman of the Kwakwasiyya group in a statement released on Monday said some cabinet members in the administration of Governor Yusuf are bent on destroying the governor’s efforts.
According to the coalition, these cabinet members are not in tandem with the initiatives and ideals of Governor Yusuf and as such, they go about working against him (the governor).
“It is equally worrisome that people who have laboured for the success of NNPP in Kano are left unattended to, while it is quite apparent that some cabinet members did nothing to contribute to the success of Governor Abba’s administration, they are all out for financial gains and not liberating the people from the bondage they were put into by the previous administration,” Ahmad said.
He also assured that the Kwankwasiyya group is committed to the success of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, the governor and the people of the state.
Ahmad urged the governor to ensure that he gets rid of the members of this cabal to ensure the success of his administration.
