“Not Even a Julius Berger Crane Can Remove Me as PDP Nat’l Secretary” – Anyanwu

Senator Samuel Anyanwu, the embattled National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has declared that he remains the undisputed occupant of the position, despite mounting opposition within the party.

Speaking on Monday at the Southeast PDP Zonal Stakeholders Meeting, Anyanwu insisted that even the most powerful forces would not succeed.

“I am the only National Secretary of the PDP, and no force, not even a Julius Berger crane, can remove me from this position. I dare Governor Peter Mbah and every PDP Governor to publicly say if I have taken a bottle of water from them. If anyone does, I will resign immediately,” he said.

Julius Berger is a renowned construction firm in the country.

Anyanwu’s comments come amid an ongoing leadership dispute with Sunday Ude-Okoye, who was endorsed by a factional stakeholders’ meeting convened by Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah earlier in the month.
