
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, August 20, announced the appointment of new management for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
The announcement was made on the official X account of the Nigerian President.
Details of the post show that four directors were appointed to the management of the NTA.
They include:
Rotimi Richard Pedro (Lagos, South-West) is appointed Director-General.
Karimah Bello (Katsina, North-West) becomes Executive Director, Marketing.
Stella Din (Plateau, North-Central) is the new Executive Director, News.
Sophia Issa Mohammed (Adamawa, North-East) assumes office as Managing Director, NTA Enterprises Limited.
According to the post, the appointments, are expected to take effect immediately.
The presidency also said that these appointments are a reaffirmation of the President’s commitment to strengthening national broadcasting as a platform for unity, cohesion, and soft diplomacy.
