Chinyere Okoye, one of the senior staff of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Channel 6 Aba, has been kidnapped.
It was learned that Okoye, the Assistant Manager, News and Current Affairs of the station, was kidnaped on Wednesday night by unknown gunmen.
The incident according to reports happened at Obikabia road off Ogbor Hill, in Obingwa Local Government Area of the state while going back home from work.
POLITICS NIGERIA understands that kidnapping has become one of the fast-rising businesses in all part of Nigeria. In the last ten year, Nigerians have paid at least N7 billion to kidnappers as ransom.
