JUST IN: Atiku Storms Adamawa Days After Arrival From Overseas Trip [PHOTOS]

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has arrived in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, barely a week after returning from an overseas trip.

Atiku, who resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in July, is expected to formally announce his defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) soon.

It should be recalled that the ADC was adopted by the National Coalition of Political Opposition Movement at an event held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, earlier in July.

Atiku is positioning himself to contest the 2027 presidential election on the platform of the ADC, a party he is expected to help consolidate ahead of the polls.

Since his return to Nigeria, the former vice president has met in Abuja with former Sokoto State governor, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN).
