Anambra guber: Bianca Ojukwu hails Soludo, rallies support for Governor’s re-election

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu on Friday, commended the Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo for his achievements in the state since assuming office.

In a post made on her social media page, the minister also called for support and votes for Governor Soludo in the forthcoming Saturday, November 8, governorship election in Anambra State.

According to Ojukwu, Soludo has shown capacity and delivered on various tasks since his election as the fifth governor of the state in November 2021.

Also stating that the reward for hard work is the opportunity to do more, Ojukwu called on the people of Anambra to ensure that they vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) during the elections tomorrow.

She wrote, “ Tomorrow is D Day… On the Hustings…..

“At the campaign rally of my political party, APGA ( All Progressives Grand Alliance) at my base in Nnewi North.

“The Gubernatorial election comes up tomorrow 8th November 2025. We are seeking a second term for our party’s candidate, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo…The Solution Governor. The reward for hard work with verified dividends is the opportunity to do more,” Ojukwu said.

Also noting that APGA has ruled the state for the past 29 years, the minister said the party’s movement in Anambra has become a religion that has focused on championing the hopes of many residents.

“APGA has been the ruling party in Anambra State for approximately 20 years shepherding the hopes and dreams of the multitude of a mass movement that has almost become a religion,” she said.

The Anambra governorship election is scheduled to take place on Saturday, with the incumbent governor contesting the state’s number one seat with Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), George Moghalu of the Labour Party among several other candidates.

With preparations in top gear for the poll, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has also announced its committment to ensuring a free, credible and fair election process.

Also, the chairman of the commission, Joash Amupitan on Thursday during a press conference in Abuja urged all registered voters to ensure they exercise their civic rights by coming out en masse to vote for their preferred candidates.
