What Buhari told Governors about APC Crisis

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to find a lasting solution to the crisis rocking the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

The Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Atiku Bagudu, disclosed this to State House correspondents shortly after some APC governors met with the President at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Kebbi state governor led the Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; and his Jigawa State counterpart, Abubakar Badaru, to meet with the President

Bagudu said Buhari assured them after listening to them that all issues causing chaos and anarchy within the party would soon be resolved.

The governor said, “The reason for our visit is to discuss with the President, as our party leader and as the leader that millions of Nigerians trust, to discuss party issues and the position of the Progressive Governors to support all steps to unify and bring about peaceful resolution in our party, the All Progressives Congress.

“Mr President listened attentively and discussed with us as a father, as a party leader and he gave us all the assurance we needed to know that resolution of contentious issues will soon be arrived at.”

  1. It is better for apc leaders to have one voice,,,, and allow Free hand to Adams oshomhole to do Is job as the national party chairman,.,, I hope and trust he as the right person that can handle the Job,

    1. A man who is clearly so biased cannot lead reasonable men and women. The University of Ibadan has validated Obaseki’s degree, WAEC has validated his HSC certificate and NYSC has confirmed his NYSC discharge certificate, yet Oshiomole said he is not qualified. Is that a leader? I don’t think so, my brother.
