Engr Musa Wada has clinched the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for Kogi State. Wada was announced the winner after he polled a total of 748 votes to defeat his closed opponent Ibrahim Abubakar, who polled 710 votes.
Wada would be facing the incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to win the seat of the no.1 citizen of the state in elections slated to hold on November 16, 2019.

So where has this left the ” Ajekun iya nio je” exponent? I think the real meaning of that song is about to come to light. Dino Melaye just lost out in the PDP Guber primaries and now he has to go for a rerun of the Senatorial elections in Kogi which very much to me he is going to lose. Once he loses that election, he loses his immunity in the Senate, EFCC will pick him up the following day for God knows what. He has just been shot in the leg so who is going to je ajekun iya now?
