Nigerian Army reacts to death of man killed by Buratai’s convoy

The Nigerian Army has reacted to the death of a 75-year-old man who was killed by the convoy of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur, in Katsina on Monday.

It was learned that the sad incident happened around Mani House Junction in the state where the deceased was sharing wedding invitations.

But in a statement on Tuesday, the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sagir Musa, commiserated with the family of the deceased, who was identified as Alhaji Salisu Ibrahim of Filin Samji.

Musa said the incident occurred when the vehicles went to refuel and were expected to pick up the Commander, 17 Brigade later.

According to him, a delegation of the Nigerian Army led by the Brigade commander has visited the family to commiserate with them and will be fully involved in the burial.
