JUST IN: Buhari names Train Stations after Tinubu, others (Full List)

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has approved the renaming of several train stations after some selected personalities in the country.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Transportation on Monday said the President approved the naming of the stations along the Lagos-Ibadan and Itakpe/Ajaokuta/ Aladja/Warri corridors.

Some of the prominent Nigerians honoured are the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Minister of Works and Housing, Raji Fashola, former Governor of Ogun state, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, amongst others.

The ministry noted that the “deserving citizens have contributed to the progress and development of their respective communities and the nation at large.”
