Suspected thugs loyal to the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Bayelsa State, during a rally on Saturday, vandalised a vehicle belonging to Comrade Atti Moses, a PDP chieftain in the state, as well as carting away properties belonging to him.
It was gathered that Chief David Lyon, Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Bayelsa, had visited the state on Saturday, 28 September, with supporters rallying around to welcome him.
Trouble started after the thugs were not given their ‘dues’ as promised by the party leading to mayhem as the thugs proceeded to vandalise vehicles and rob innocent bystanders.
The incident, however, left the vehicles of PDP chieftain, Moses, who is also a Special Assistant to Governor Seriake Dickson on Student Affairs and others vandalised. Speaking on the incident, Moses disclosed;
“After the APC Rally Yesterday two Cars in my Compound was Vandalized and valuables Stolen, but na my sweat and by the Grace of God I will not only repair the damages but Get a better car.”
“I’m a big name in PDP based on my contribution to the growth of the Party but am just like every other normal Youth in the Streets of Yenagoa trying to make ends meet in a legit way. Nobody is in monopoly of Violence but I will continue to preach peace.”
