The Nigerian Presidency has claimed that Nigeria is currently being restructured by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Presidential Spokesperson, Lauretta Onochie made the revelation in a series of tweets on Thursday morning stating that it has already begun in the area of security.
“Pres. @MBuhari is restructuring Nigeria. He does not control State Governors. Unlike in the past, they are totally in charge & are the chief security officers too. Yesterday, Gov @Hope_Uzodimma1 followed d steps of real state executives & improved d quality of policing in Imo.”
“Some governors are saying they are not in charge of the police structures in their states. But the truth is, they are. They get security votes for that purpose and are also, members of the Police Council. CoolBaba doesn’t interfere with what states do. That’s restructuring.”
