Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has revealed what President Muhammadu Buhari must do to make up for his absence at the funeral of late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru.
On Friday, the late COAS and 10 other military personnel perished in a plan crash in Kaduna. The president and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo made headlines on Saturday over their conspicuous absence at a burial ceremony organised for the deceased officers.
Reacting to the development, Sani tweeted that President Buhari can still make up for the ‘blunder’ by visiting the families of the late officers in person and commiserating with them.
T”he President should visit the bereaved families of the late COAS and other deceased officers, in order to make up for that unconscionable absence at the interment.” he wrote.
