Ize-Iyamu, Olisa Metuh Named As APC Unveils Fresh Campaign Council List
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh; former Edo State governorship candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu; and actress Foluke Daramola to President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
Politics Nigeria reports that the party announced the appointments in a supplementary list released on Wednesday.
It is understood that the list expands the council’s membership across directorates, sectoral groups, mobilisation structures and operational units ahead of the 2027 general election.
The supplementary list was contained in a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases a supplementary list of leadership and membership of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), expanding the composition of the Council ahead of the 2027 general election,” the statement read.
It said the additional appointments were aimed at improving coordination among the council’s various components as preparations for the election continued.
“Our great Party reiterates its commitment to ensuring effective coordination among the various components of the PCC as preparations remain in top gear for the 2027 general election,” the statement added.
Politics Nigeria recalls that the latest appointments come about two weeks after the APC released an earlier list of campaign council members,

included opposition governors such as Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The additions further expand the party’s campaign structure as it prepares to seek Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Recall that the initial membership of the council was unveiled in August 2026, with President Tinubu as chairman, Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, as vice chairmen, former Zamfara State Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari as director-general, and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as secretary.
A revised list issued in mid-October further broadened the structure under a “rainbow coalition” approach that brought in prominent figures from outside the APC.
The council was formally inaugurated on October 14, 2026, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Subsequent expansions introduced additional directorates covering election planning and monitoring, infrastructure mobilisation, health sector engagement, civil society, new media, extractive industries, entertainment, security and intelligence, artisan mobilisation, labour relations and faith-based groups.
Meanwhile, Yilwatda has challenged former Vice-President and presidential candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar to identify a major project worth at least N10 billion executed in Plateau State during Atiku’s eight years in office.
The APC national chairman spoke on Wednesday at the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Jos, the Plateau State capital, while seeking support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
“Atiku was vice president for eight years. Show me one road or one thing that we had on the Plateau. Show me one N10 billion project on the Plateau within that period,” Yilwatda said.
“The best we can have in those days is a borehole, or they bring ‘Keke Napep’ for us. Today, the president is bringing major projects on the Plateau,” he added.
Yilwatda cited a university and the Federal Medical Centre among projects associated with Tinubu’s administration. He also said the president had addressed challenges in healthcare, education, infrastructure and security.

He identified insecurity as the most pressing concern among Plateau residents and credited Tinubu with addressing the problem.
“If you ask any Plateau man, ‘What is your problem?’ The number one problem is insecurity, and Mr President has addressed it,” Yilwatda said.
