Lagos Protest: “Leave Sunday Igboho alone or else…” – Yoruba agitators warn FG

A group of Yoruba Nation agitators while protesting in Lagos on Saturday warned the Nigerian Government to stay away from its leader, Chief Sunday Adeyemo alias Sunday Igboho.

The agitators carried different placards with inscriptions such as “Leave Igboho alone”, “Igboho Oosa (warlords)”, “Igboho is not the problem, arrest terrorists and bandits”.

POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that the Department of State Services (DSS) declared the secessionist leader wanted after raiding his home on Thursday.

Several arms, ammunitions  and bloody charms were recovered from Igboho’s house. Two people were also killed as Igboho’s men allegedly exchanged fire with the security operatives.

The agitators included traditionalists, traders, women and youths, also chanted songs in support of Yoruba Nation and Igboho. The protest has since been disrupted by the police who fired tear gas and used water cannons. Gunshots were also heard.

  1. WHY ALL THIS OLD SOLDIERS DON’T WANT TO GO AND STAY HOME AND ALLOW THE YOUNG ONCE TO TAKE OVER GOVERNMENT. THERE TIME IS GONE. WE ARE IN A NEW DISPENSETION.
