Kanu’s Lawyer Accuses FG of Pampering Fulani Terrorists and Going After IPOB 

Aloy Ejimakor, lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has accused the Federal Government of applying double standards in its handling of security matters in Nigeria.

The lawyer alleged that authorities showed tolerance toward Fulani terrorists while aggressively pursuing IPOB and its leader.

He said this pattern has raised serious questions about fairness and accountability in government actions since 2015.

Ejimakor made the statement while reacting to recent steps taken by the United States on security-related issues involving Nigeria.

According to him, such actions should have been taken years ago by Nigeria’s own leadership.

He said past and present administrations must explain why suspected Fulani terrorists were allegedly treated with leniency, while IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu faced severe crackdowns.

The lawyer also questioned whether ethnicity influenced the government’s decisions. He noted that the unequal approach has deepened mistrust and left many Nigerians confused.

In a post on X, Ejimakor openly challenged the authorities and demanded answers.

“Now that America has done what should’ve been done many years ago, those who ruled Nigeria from 2015 to date must explain why they pampered the Fulani terrorists but went after the IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who didn’t even qualify.

“Is it because they’re Igbo? So many questions,” Ejimakor wrote.

He insisted that the government must be transparent and accountable over how it classified and handled different groups linked to insecurity across the country.
