Following his transfer to Fatih Karagümrük of Turkey, Super Eagles of Nigeria captain, Ahmed Musa has thanked God for His blessings.
Musa completed a move away from Kano Pillars on Thursday, ending his short spell at Kano Pillars, a club he has now played for twice in his senior professional career.
In the current Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Musa was unable to register a goal.
The former CSKA Moscow of Russia and Leicester City of England forward decided to team up with Pillars in April, after he was released by Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia in October 2020 and could not find a club overseas.
“We added the 28-year-old Nigerian offensive player to our squad. During his career, he played for clubs such as VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and Leicester City.
“He scored 15 goals in 87 matches for the Nigerian National Team. We wish success to Ahmed Musa under the Karagümrük jersey, signed by our Vice President Serkan Hurma and our Sporting Director Murat Akın.” Musa’s new club wrote on social media as they unveiled the Nigerian superstar.
Reacting via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, Musa, 28, wrote: “Alhamdulillah”, an Arabic phrase meaning “praise be to God”. His tweet was accompanied with a clip of his arrival at the European club.
