Apex-Igbo group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has appointed a former governor of Anambra State, Chukwuemeka Ezeife to lead its delegation to court on Monday to monitor proceedings in Nnamdi Kanu’s case.
It can be recalled that Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB will be arraigned in court on Monday for a continuation of his trial. He is facing charges of treasonable felony, illegal arms possession and terrorism.
President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Prof George Obiozor, made the appointment recently. Also on the delegation are; the National Legal Adviser, Barrister Joseph Ojobu and Chief Goddy Uwazurike.
Ohanaeze said the duo would be the lawyers representing the group on a watching brief.
