Some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been arrested in Abuja by Security agents. They were arrested within the premises of the Federal high court where the group’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu will be arraigned today.
The IPOB members were chanting slogans in support of Kanu and demanding the freedom of their leader.
Several were clad in the green, yellow and red colours of the IPOB flag while others were clad in Jewish attire. Some were arrested while others fled on foot.
Kanu’s trial is scheduled to continue today after he was arrested and extradited to Nigeria in June. He will be arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako.
More to come….
