The Hon. Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajjiya Sadiya Umar Farouq returned to Nigeria on Tuesday following the ExCom 2019 event in Geneva.
Sadiya Umar Farouq was at the centre of wild rumours last week that President Muhammadu Buhari was planning to wed her as a ‘second wife’. A rumour that has since been debunked.
It will be recalled that social media was awash with speculation that the minister and the nation’s leader were dating and close to taking the alleged affair to the next level.
This followed First Lady Aisha Buhari’s continued absence from Nigeria.
She has been out of the Presidential Villa since her trip to Saudi Arabia and believed to be in London. The First lady returned back to Nigeria a few days ago.
