All is now set at the Bichi Emirs Palace in Kano State for the wedding ceremony of Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari and Zahra Nasiru Ado Bayero.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State Thursday inspected the venue for the wedding which is scheduled to take place today, Friday.
He was conducted round the venue by the member representing Bichi Federal constituency, Hon. Abubakar Kabiru Abubakar Bichi; and the Local Government Chairman, Prof. Yusuf Muhammad Sabo.
Yusuf, 27, the only male child of President Buhari will wed Zahra, daughter of the Emir of Bauchi.
The Presidency had constituted a presidential delegation ahead of the West African nation leader’s visit to Kano for the marriage of his son.
Zahra is said to be a student at a university in the United Kingdom (UK). Yusuf’s mother is the First Lady of Nigeria – Aisha Buhari.
Prominent Nigerians like Femi Fani-Kayode, Bello Matawalle, Babagana Zulum, Ali Ndume, Isa Pantami, Sani Yerima and Isa Yuguda are already in Kano for the big ceremony.
