President Muhammadu Buhari has disclosed that certain high profile Nigerians have been identified as sponsors of Pro-Secession agitators, Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho.
POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB was arrested earlier this year in Kenya and has been in DSS custody, while Igboho who leads the Yoruba Nation agenda, is in prison custody in Benin Republic.
In his Independence Day speech on Friday, the President revealed that investigations into the activities of both men has yielded a lot of information.
He said: “The recent arrests of Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Adeyemo, and the ongoing investigations being conducted have revealed certain high-profile financiers behind these individuals.”
“We are vigorously pursuing these financiers including one identified as a serving member of the national assembly.”
The president can reveal sponsors of Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu but he he will not reveal sponsors of Boko Haram, Bandits and others. Can you see where tge problem is!? Who is fooling who?
We are asking for the sponsors of bandits and bokoharam not the other way round somebody should stop beating about the bush ok
One of the irony of our time! Terrorism have ravaged this country for almost a decade now, with our leaders claiming of recent to know their sponsors, after killing thousands and rendered millions homeless. Every Nigerians would be eager (as they are the ones at the receiving end), to the peoples behind their calamities, but unfortunately we are still in shadow hitherto.
Now our laughable president left the lions and getting serious at mere antelopes who are only concerned about getting into extinction as a result of lions killing them. So to what extent would the president play with people’s intelligence, by selling away his own conscience?
What about the names of those sponsoring Book Haram ,
Weytin come happen, are they bandit or BH sponsor…… see my president…Hmmmm, mak I just close mouth
Please Mr. President, who are the sponsors of Boko Haram and the other bandits?
