Shehu Sani Reacts to US Delivery of Military Supplies to Nigeria

Former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the delivery of critical military supplies from the United States to Nigeria.

Reacting on Tuesday to reports of the handover, Sani said the support would boost Nigeria’s ongoing efforts to tackle insecurity, particularly in the North-West region.

In a post on his X handle, Sani said, “I read the reports that the US has delivered critical military supplies to Nigeria. That is a welcome development and commendable.

“Other countries that claim to like or love us should emulate this gesture. Anything that can be done to eliminate Bello Turji, Adamu Aleru, Baleri, and other terrorist criminals in the hinterland of Zamfara is welcomed,” Sani stated.

According to Politics Nigeria Report, the United States delivered the supplies in support of Nigeria’s ongoing security operations against terrorism and banditry.

The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) confirmed that the equipment was handed over to Nigerian authorities in Abuja.
