You Remain Labour Party’s Pride — Party Tells Gov Otti in Birthday Message

The Labour Party (LP) has described the Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, as its pride for winning the 2023 election and demonstrating purposeful leadership in office.

The party’s Interim National Chairman, Senator Nenadi Usman, made the remarks in a birthday message to the governor on Wednesday in Abuja.

Usman said Otti had redefined leadership in less than three years in office, describing him as a hands-on leader with a clear vision for governance.

“Your Excellency, as you mark your birthday today, I pray that God continues to endow you with enormous wisdom to pilot the affairs of Abia State, where you have, in less than three years, redefined leadership,” she said.

She noted that Otti had demonstrated that governance could be purposeful and transformative with determination and commitment, adding that his approach had set a new standard in the state.

Usman expressed confidence that the people of Abia would consider renewing his mandate in the next election cycle, citing what she described as his “purposeful and people-centred leadership.”

“You remain the pride of the Labour Party’s outing in the 2023 elections, and I am certain the good people of Abia State are taking note of your leadership,” she added.

She wished the governor many more years of service on behalf of the party’s leadership and members.
