A clash between Tricycle Operators and Police officers occurred on Thursday morning in Meiran area of Lagos state.
Eyewitness repots reveal that chaos began after a Tricycle operator was stabbed to death for refusing to give a “N100 bribe” to an officer.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that tension has enveloped the area as several gunshots rang out as commercial tricyclists gathered and became irate, condemning the killing and calling for justice.
As at the time of filing this report, it is unclear if normalcy has been returned to the area.
