Fatimo Amele Bamigbetan, wife of Kehinde Bamigbetan, a former Commissioner in Lagos State, has died.
Kehinde Bamigbetan is a veteran journalist and former commissioner for information in Lagos State during the Akinwunmi Ambode administration. He was also a former chairman of Ejigbo local council development area in Lagos State.
POLITICS NIGERIA learnt that the sad incident happened on Monday. The cause of Mrs Bamigbetan’s death cannot be established as of the time of publishing this report.
Reacting to the news, Abdul-Hakeem Abdul-Lateef, a former Commissioner for Home Affairs in Lagos State, asked Kehinde to “please take heart and remain strong”.
“I commiserate with Hon Kehinde Bamigbetan on the death of his wife, Mrs Fatimo Amele Bamigbetan. She was a great lady who was very amiable, caring and loved by all. Death is a debt we all owe. We are all from our Lord and to Him we shall return. May God continue to be with all she left behind and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. My brother, please take heart and remain strong. May you overcome this trial. Aamin,” Abdul-Lateef wrote on his verified Facebook page.
