Fani-Kayode labels Chikwendu ‘liar’, ‘disgraceful’

Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has denied ex-partner Precious Chikwendu’s claim that his son tested positive for COVID-19, dubbing the claim a “specious lie and diabolical fabrication from the pit of hell”.

In a statement signed by the former minister’s lawyer, Ayodeji Sunday Ibikunle, he further claimed that Ms Chikwendu was suffering from mental issues.

“We are constrained to point out the fact that Miss Precious Chikwendu, the former partner of our client Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, Sadaukin Shinkafi, is suffering from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia,” the statement read.

“We acknowledge the fact that she is totally insane. Ordinarily, we cannot be expected to respond to the crass, filthy, delusional, salacious, disgraceful and absurd allegations of an insane person.”

The statement, released on Thursday, also explained that Ms Chikwendu made the claim out of hate towards her ex-partner.

“We appreciate the fact that Precious is clinically unstable, is as mad as a hatter and is prone to telling monstrous lies and making delusional statements,” the statement continued.

“A glaring example of her degenerating mental state is the specious lie and diabolical fabrication from the pit of hell that any of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode’s sons is suffering from COVID 19 or that any of them has head injuries.”

The statement continued that Mr Fani-Kayode would soon face her at the court to expose “who and what she is and what she suffers”.

Fani-Kayode and Chikwendu parted ways in 2020 and have been since fighting over the custody of their four children.
